Microflora

We collect controlled matrix samples to conduct water flotation following a technique described in J. Schaaf (1988). Typically the dried recovered remains are sent to J. Schaaf, PhD or to Linda Scott Cummings, PhD of PaleoResearch Institute for seed identification to establish chronology from artifact recovery and dietary remains extracted from controlled feature contexts.
